Touching the Sky

Fanart for Everblue [link] by , which is a lovely webcomic and you should all read. I'm bad at pimping stuff, though, so go look at it now. But really, with well written characters and lovely artwork the only chance not to like it is having a personal problem with fantasy sea themed stories.

I struggled with this picture. I've been about to throw it away a lot of times, but just ended up making an extra effort trying to save it. That summed up a lot of effort into a single picture. I know that's not a good thing and I don't recommend doing that to anyone - stuff that doesn't work should be restarted. But on the other hand, I learned things fighting with it and it's done anyway. Sometimes I just need to fix stuff too badly to do things right, I guess.
